In a blind review on test meetings, it makes about half as many errors per sentence and captures more of what happened: from ~67% to ~79% of the facts. It is still an AI that can get things wrong: check what matters before you share it.

Yes. Recording, transcribing and the AI all run on your computer. You need internet to install it from the Microsoft Store, to activate Pro, and, with the startup check that comes on by default, to keep Pro revalidated: if you go more than 14 days without a connection, the app drops back to Demo until it can revalidate. If you turn that check off in Settings → Privacy, it runs once every six months.
In folders on your computer that you choose (Documents\AirGapScribe by default). Nothing is uploaded to any server: we have no servers that receive them.
No. It runs on any PC with Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11. If you have an NVIDIA GPU, the app offers to use it: on an RTX 3060, a short meeting’s minutes went from about 78 seconds to about 6.
